The Port of Portland has invited Honoring Our Rivers to have a student reading at its upcoming Seaport Celebration, August 13. Do you know a student who would like to read his/her submission?
Reading on stage is a great way to celebrate and share student talent and the creative relationship kids have to our environment. By the way, it doesn't have to be a piece that was published in the anthology; it can be any watershed-themed selection of her/his work.
