Announcing Published Students for 2017 Edition

Well, the 2017 Honoring Our Rivers Student Anthology is off to the printers, and we know you've been waiting to learn what student submissions have made it in. The week has arrived to make the big announcements, and if you or your student's work was selected we'll be letting you know this week. Thank you all for your patience and submission effort.

With over 600 submissions from students across Oregon, choosing what makes it into the print publication is never easy! Our judges have a tough job, and there were a lot of close calls. We currently only have the capacity to contact the students' teachers and families who were selected, so if you don't hear from us in the next two weeks we strongly encourage you to submit for the 2018 edition.

All are welcome to our anthology release celebration and student reading at Powell's City of Books in Portland, Oregon, on Sunday, May 21 at 4 p.m. Invites and details coming soon!

Can't wait to see the new publication? Next week we're releasing the 2017 anthology on our website, so be sure to come back and peak. Print copies will be mailed to teachers and public libraries before the end of the school year.
